What is Wisdoms for Neknel?

Wisdoms for Neknel is a gamified exploration of a speculative reality where $WISDOM is a currency, built by artist collective Keiken. Wisdoms for Neknel employs artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to test-drive possible futures.

What are Wisdom Vessels?

Wisdom Vessels are 1,111 dynamic, webGL based generative, interactive NFTs that produce $WISDOM ERC20. Wisdom Vessels each hold a unique pearl of Wisdom derived from our Wisdom Seeds and re-imagined by the AI model GPT-4.

What is $WISDOM?

$WISDOM is an ERC20 token on Ethereum designed specifically for Keiken and the first currency of our speculative universe, Neknel. $WISDOM is accrued and emitted from the 1,111 Wisdom Vessels.

Allowlist mint price is 0.05 ETH, this price will be open to people on the allowlist for 48 hours, after this the public mint price is 0.08 ETH.

What are Wisdom Seeds?

Wisdom Seeds were the initial stage of Wisdoms for Neknel and the creation of our Wisdom Vessel NFTs. They’re live conversations initiated and hosted by Keiken and María Paula Fernández with future-thinkers and luminaries across the fields of art, science, spirituality and technology.

The transcriptions from our Wisdom Seeds were comprehended as a whole by an LLM (Large Language Model) to train our AI, and in turn it generated the Wisdom Vessels based on the content of the text and a unique pearl of Wisdom which accompanies each Vessel.

What is the Neknel Marketplace?

The Neknel Marketplace is the next stop on the Wisdoms for Neknel roadmap. In our marketplace you will be able to exchange your harvested $WISDOM for 1/1 NFTs, limited editions, experiences and game items from Keiken and collaborators!

What is Neknel?

Neknel has been created by Keiken to explore protopian systems for society. In Neknel, thanks to advanced technology, consciousness is no longer limited to the physical realm, supporting the expansion of wisdom and understanding. There are no jobs here, only cosmic goals and shared purpose.

Keiken created Neknel, a universe 1000 years in the future, to test-drive possible futures. Neknel can be explored in their works, Morphogenic Angels, Ángel Yōkai Atā and of course, Wisdoms for Neknel!

What is generative art?

Generative art refers to artworks created through a process that involves algorithms, rules, or systems designed by an artist or a programmer. It harnesses the creative potential of technology to generate visuals, sounds, or interactive experiences that can evolve and transform over time.

What is WebGL?

WebGL enables developers to write code using a programming language called JavaScript, which instructs the browser on how to create and manipulate graphics. With WebGL, you can create and control objects, apply textures and colours, animate them, and even simulate realistic lighting and shadows.

We’ve used WebGL to create our Wisdom Vessels, based off of Keiken’s mandala icon seen frequently across their work and logo.

What is AI?

AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, there are many ways AI can impact decision making, creativity and problem solving. We’ve used AI to generate pearls of wisdom held in our Wisdom Vessels.

Who are Keiken?

Keiken are a multidisciplinary artist collective based between London and Berlin, co-founded by Tanya Cruz, Hana Omori and Isabel Ramos in 2015 after meeting at Falmouth University, where they studied Fine Art. Keiken’s collective name is taken from the Japanese word for experience; the lived experience being an idea at the core of their practice. In 2021 Keiken were awarded the CHANEL Next Prize, an international award to catalyse innovation across arts and culture.

Keiken create new and speculative worlds through filmmaking, gaming, installation, Extended Reality, blockchain and performance. Through these varied mediums they explore how societal introjection governs the way we feel, think and perceive.

Who are obso1337?

obso1337 (ob-so-leet) is the creative practice of London based artists and developers Lachlan KosaniukInnes and Tobias Seymour. Using code as their primary medium they aim to explore the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds, creating work that intends to compute physical interaction with online spaces. obso1337’s output has been shown internationally and includes websites, music, installation and performance.

obso1337 are friends and frequent collaborators of Keiken, they’re the team behind the generative coding required for our Wisdom Vessels!
